# How to Renew Your Fuel Cell Positions

You can renew your existing Fuel Cell positions after the lockup period is over. You can only extend your positions for the same duration as the original term. For example, if your current position is for 3 months, you can only extend it in 3-month durations.

**Step 1: Locate the Fuel Cells Page**

Head to the “$H2” tab on the navigation bar and hover on the tab. A dropdown with Fuel Cells will appear. Click on the dropdown and you’ll find the relevant details.

**Step 2: Select Fuel Cell to Recharge and Confirm Recharge Transaction**

Make sure you are on the “My Positions” tab on the Fuel Cells page. Locate the position you want to recharge or renew. Click “Recharge” in the position’s details box. Check the recharge or renewal information before hitting “Confirm” to finalize the transaction.

*Note: The APRs will vary based on Fuel Cell utilization. In general, the earlier and longer you lock your $H2 tokens, the higher the APR. The APR will lower as more tokens are locked across Fuel Cells.*
